Tanga Trade Fair is a premier event organized by Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) in collaboration with Tanga Regional Secretariat (Regional Government) and Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE), the trade promotion agency of the Government of Tanzania.
We are now organizing the 8th edition of this popular event, from 28th May 2020 – 6th June 2020 at Mwahako Grounds in Tanga City Tanzania.
It is an important trade fair in terms of exhibitors and visitors participation and has evolved its unique character as an iconic zonal event. It provides a great platform
- for trade,
- for exhibitors to display and demonstrate their services and products.
- It offers/ show visitors an opportunity to meet people from different countries and backgrounds, finding buyers, business interactions, test marketing and market access.
- It show cases technology transfer opportunities, creating a platform for interaction and exchanging of ideas and experiences.
The Public Sector i.e. a number of Government Organisations use the trade fair as a platform to spread awareness about their programmes and policies among the public. Our success in hosting the 8th edition, attests the suitability of Tanga Trade Fair as an outstanding fair that continuously enhances business/trade promotion, business innovations, exposure of markets, show casing investments opportunities and commitment to supporting Tanzanians’ industrialisation strategy.

KINDLY NOTE THAT THE TRADE FAIR BEGINS ON 28 MAY 2020. All Participants are expected to have completed their displays in their pavilions a day earlier.
The official opening of the 8th Tanga Trade Fair by our guest of honor is expected be on Saturday 30th June 2020 at 14.00 hrs. The official guest of honor for opening ceremony shall be the Minister for Ministry of Industries and Trade.
As for the for the closing ceremony to be done on 6th June 2020 the Minister for Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism shall be the guest of honor.
