Industry & Agriculture


The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) is a private sector association which was established
in 1988 with the support of Tanzania Government to strengthen the private sector. The establishment of the TCCIA was an
important step as the Government was moving from centralized, planned economy towards a more open, mixed economy
giving full scope to private owned enterprises and farms.

TCCIA with regional oces in 26 regions of mainland and over 100 district centers, works closely with dierent international
organizations for several of its activities to strengthen private sector in the country and it also works closely with the
Government for the same objective.


Joining the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in your area is a great way to gain new business
prospects, be an active part of your community and learn about new ways to advertise your business. You can attract more
local business and have resources available as a part of the Chamber of Commerce. It’s also a great way to make connections,

TCCIA would like to remind all chamber members and non members that the Tanzania Business Delegation to Italy will be
on 04/05/2017-Rome,Italy and Istanbul, Turkey on 05th to 06th May,2017 during the same visit. Deadline to Italy

business mission confirmation time has been favored to 24th March 2017 while deadline for Turkey confirmation is end of March 2017.

• Tourism( including furniture and equipment)

Please note: Sectors of interest are not limited; organizers will arrange meetings according to the sectors of Tanzanian delegates.

Participating costs which need to be paid to TCCIA Headquarter  will cover:
1. Tickets for Round trip flights to both countries
2. Transport from airport to the hotels near conferences.
2. Visa
3. Insurance
4. Conference participation.
Participants will have to pay for themselves directly the hotel accommodation, meals and local transport.
